Introduction of Byton CONCEPT EV – all-electric vehicle

It is

• a mid-sized SUV with sleek proportions
• designed like a smartphone offering
• secure to passengers and others outside the car

It has

• up to 325 miles of range
• the latest technology and features for advanced connectivity
• autonomous driving capabilities
• a touch sensitive screen on the steering wheel
• a length of 191 inches (4.85 meters)
• side-view cameras replacing the side mirrors

More highlights

autonomous driving:

From launch in 2019 it will have full Level 3 autonomous capability and will be Level 4 ready from 2020, with it being designed for Level 4 in its design.

Battery and range

Two models of the car will be available to buy with the base version having 250 miles of range on a single charge, from its 71 kWh battery which produces 272 bhp.

The higher power model has 325 miles on single charge, has a 95 kWh battery which produces 476bhp.

It can recharge up to 150 miles on 20 miles and in 30 minutes the vehicle will be able to regenerate 80 per cent battery percentage

Price

Prices for the car start at $45,000 and the vehicle will launch in late 2019.
